About me
Brittney Mollman is counsel in the firm’s Business Litigation group, with a practice focused on privacy and data governance. She advises companies on navigating complex data, technology, and regulatory decisions in fast-moving business environments, informed by her experience assisting clients in high-stakes disputes and enforcement matters. Her work centers on helping organizations make clear, defensible decisions at the intersection of data use, technology adoption, and risk. Brittney advises on privacy program design, AI and emerging technology governance, incident response, vendor and platform assessments, and regulatory compliance across U.S. and global privacy regimes. She brings a litigation-informed perspective to these matters, helping clients anticipate how decisions may be evaluated under regulatory scrutiny or in adversarial settings.Brittney takes a decision-first approach to privacy and data governance, working closely with founders, operators, and in-house teams to clarify objectives, surface non-negotiable risks, and design governance frameworks that reflect the company’s stage, industry, and operational realities—rather than relying on one-size-fits-all compliance models that may not hold up when tested. She is frequently engaged at key inflection points, including new product launches, platform changes, growth initiatives, and periods of regulatory or operational uncertainty, where early clarity can materially improve outcomes. Brittney is known for translating complex legal and technical requirements into practical frameworks that support sound business judgment, accountability, and long-term resilience if and when decisions are later challenged.Brittney is an active pro bono advocate and serves as a volunteer and board member for St. Louis Survivors Legal Support (SLSLS), a nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to victims of domestic abuse seeking orders of protection in St. Louis County.
